Embracing Creativity and Calm: Blue Light Card’s Flower Hour Workshop

This Mental Health Awareness week, we added a brand-new service to our portfolio at EverWild, one that nurtures workplace wellbeing and strengthens communication and connection among colleagues.

Flower Hour is our new bespoke workplace wellbeing workshop created specifically for corporate environments – you can find out more here.

This unique offering is designed to slot seamlessly into a typical lunch break, our bespoke hour-long workshop ensures minimal disruption to your schedule, making it a perfect team building experience for fast-paced organisations or busy community groups.

In the middle of Mental Health Awareness week, we had the pleasure of to hosting a Flower Hour workshop for some of the wonderful colleagues at Blue Light Card at their head office in Leicester.

The event was organised to mark their own internal Mental Health Awareness week and Learning at Work Week. They reached out to us as they were looking for an activity that could combine both – provide some downtime for employees whilst also giving them the opportunity to learn a new skill.

Twenty-five colleagues spent a relaxing hour picking up some floristry skills and learning the basic principles of flower arranging creating their very own beautiful dried bouquet to take home – finished off with a personalised blue ribbon to tie in with their company branding.

Flower Hour is more than just an activity; it’s a way to slow down, get creative, and bring people together. Our workshop left everyone feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of the day with a fresh perspective.

If you’re looking for a unique way to enhance your team’s wellbeing, productivity and creativity, Flower Hour might just be the perfect fit!

EverWild ran their Flower Hour workshop for our workplace as part of our Learning at Work Week and Mental Health Awareness Week. The session was an amazing way to bring colleagues together and for them to focus on something creative... it got them away from their screens and there was a real buzz in the room. Tarnya and Lizzie did a brilliant job and I would recommend this for anyone seeking ways to engage employees and to boost wellbeing in the workplace!
